HOW TO CARE
Our swimwear predominantly features heavy weight nylon spandex, a premium material known for its exceptional durability and comfort while maintaining its shape over time.
Caring for your suit in the appropriate manner is the best way possible to ensure that it will not deteriorate in an untimely manner.
For optimal preservation please follow tips 1-5:
TIP NO. 1
Hand wash your swimwear in fresh cold water with gentle hand soap that contains no moisturisers, or a gentle detergent specifically formulated for fabrics with a high spandex content as soon as possible after wearing. Make sure to rinse thoroughly in cold water until all soap is gone.
TIP NO. 2
Lay your suit flat to dry in the shade on a towel and use caution to never ring out the fabric or hang it, which could cause stretching and wear to the delicate fabric. Make sure your swimsuit is completely dry before storing it.
TIP NO. 3
Never, ever wash your suit in the washing machine, even on the delicate/hand-wash cycle. Water temperatures in washing machines are incredibly hard to regulate and the detergents made for machines are far too strong for swimwear fabric. Avoid bleach, machine washing, soaking, or ironing to maintain the integrity of your suit.
TIP NO. 4
For multi-coloured swimwear, avoid soaking, especially with harsh detergents. While all fabrics are colorfast to a grade 5, exposure to stain removers or strong detergents may increase the risk of color bleeding.
TIP NO. 5
Substances such as sun cream, tanning cream, and chlorine, as well as hot tubs, steam rooms, and saunas, can cause discoloration and extreme damage to swimwear fabric, so we recommend being cautious about these external factors when wearing your suits. In addition, any rough surface can cause pulling and snagging of the fabric.

LINEN
Lightweight, breathable and widely known as the world’s strongest fibre, linen is our favourite fabric. Made from the stalk of the flax plant, linen is a sustainable, biodegradable fibre that can be produced with minimal water, pesticides and fertiliser. It’s also fast-drying, naturally insulating and improves with age.
To maintain your garment’s quality, we recommend washing in cold or cool water (30 degrees maximum) with a dash of mild, natural detergent. Avoid fabric softeners. Don’t wash with heavier garments, such as jeans or jackets, as this can damage your linen.
To dry, lay the garment flat on a towel (avoid hangers) and leave in a shaded area. Once dry, store your garment in a cool, dry place, either hung or folded. Linen is prone to creasing with wear. You can iron it, but you should spritz garments with water before pressing; dampening linen relaxes its fibres, making it easier to remove creases.
Do not tumble dry. Exposing garments to lengthy periods of heat at high temperatures damages fibres and shrinks garments. Always refer to your garment’s label for precise care instructions.
COTTON
Robust, breathable and lightweight, cotton is an exceptional natural fibre.
To maintain your garment’s quality, we recommend washing in cold or cool water (30 degrees maximum) with a dash of mild, natural detergent. To dry, lay the garment flat on a towel (avoid hangers) and leave in a shaded area. Once dry, store your garment in a cool, dry place, either hung or folded. For cotton T-shirts, we recommend folding to best maintain shape; over time, hanging such garments may cause stretching at the shoulders and neck.
Do not tumble dry. Exposing garments to lengthy periods of heat at high temperatures damages fibres and shrinks garments. Always refer to your garment’s label for precise care instructions.
VISCOSE
Viscose (rayon) is a semi-synthetic fabric derived from natural sources. Viscose is a delicate fabric that requires special care to ensure its longevity.
We recommend professional dry-cleaning for viscose items – particularly if the garment is stained. Please do not wash your viscose garment, even in cold water; it will shrink.
Once cleaned, you may find your garments appear a touch smaller. This can be easily remedied with a warm steam iron. The heat of the iron will relax the knitted fibres and the weave. When pressing, use your hands to gently ease the garment back to its original shape. Ensure not to over-press as excess heat and stretching may damage the garment.
Store your garment folded in a cool, dry place. We recommend folding to ensure the garment’s shape is maintained over time. Hanging such garments may cause the garment to lose its original shape.
Do not tumble dry. Exposing garments to heat damages fibres and shrinks garments. Always refer to your garment’s label for precise care instructions.
