Returns
Our Returns Policy
We offer returns on full-price items for store credit only within 14 days of delivery. We do not offer refunds unless an item arrives faulty or damaged.
To ensure your item is eligible for return:
- The item(s) are returned in original condition, unworn, unwashed, and without odours (including perfumes).
- The item(s) has no marks or stains with tags and the hygiene liner attached.
- The return is lodged within 14 days of receiving your order.
- Your item(s) must not be on SALE; they will not be restocked and can not be returned.
- Please note that duties, taxes, shipping, and shipping protection costs are not eligible for store credit or refund.
For hygiene reasons, all swimwear must be tried on over underwear.
Items returned with marks requiring cleaning will incur a $10 AUD cleaning fee, deducted from your store credit. Items that do not meet these conditions may be returned back to you at your own expense.
How to Return
Please choose your pieces carefully as we are not able to provide refunds on any other basis than in the case of a faulty item.
HOW DO I RETURN MY ITEM(S)?
- Please email us at info@sabiswim.com with your order number and name of item(s) you wish to return, placing 'return' in the subject line.
- Once your return has been lodged, we will email you the next steps in returning your item(s).
- Please check your item(s) to ensure they are in perfect condition as Sabi cannot accept any item(s) returned worn or tampered with in any way.
- Ship your parcel to the address provided. We recommend you send your parcel back via trackable mail as we are not liable for returns lost in transit. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
- Once we receive your return, we will email you a store credit in the form of a store credit, which can be used store-wide.
- For sanitary reasons please try on swimwear over your underwear, we do not accept exchanges that are worn or are stained.
Please allow up to 3-5 business days from when your return is received at our warehouse for your store credit to be issued.
Sabi is not responsible for any lost or damaged item(s) when returning.
Important Update
As of 3 April, duties and taxes for US, UK and EU orders are included in our pricing.
If you are exchanging or placing a new order, you may notice a difference in pricing. This is because duties are now paid upfront at checkout, rather than being charged separately on arrival in your country.
Sale Items
All sale items are final sale and are not eligible for return.
This includes:
- Items purchased during promotional periods
- Items purchased with a discount of 15% or more
We recommend checking sizing, fit notes and product details carefully before purchasing sale items.
Store Credit
Store credit is issued via email once your return has been approved.
Store credit is valid for 3 years and can be used storewide.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Exchanges
All returns are processed as store credit once your item has been received and approved.
As we are unable to reserve items, availability is not guaranteed. If your selected item sells out before you place your new order, your store credit can be used to select another piece at your convenience.
Faulty Items
If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at info@sabiswim.com
Refunds
We do not offer refunds for change of mind or sizing.
All eligible returns are issued as store credit. This does not include original shipping charges.
Refunds are only offered if an item is deemed faulty.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Sale items or items purchased with a discount over 15%
- Item(s) worn, washed or damaged
- Item(s) without tags or hygiene liners
- Free gifts or promotional items
Customs, Duties & Delivery Responsibilities
For orders to the United States, United Kingdom and Europe, duties and taxes are prepaid at checkout and no additional fees will be charged on delivery.
Please note, for orders placed before 3 April, duties and taxes for the UK and EU were not included at checkout, as these orders were shipped with Australia Post. In these cases, any applicable customs fees are required to be paid upon arrival. These fees are the responsibility of the customer and are non refundable.
For all other international destinations, duties, taxes and import fees are the responsibility of the customer and are non refundable.
For some international shipments, your local customs authority or shipping carrier may reach out for additional information to complete clearance. It is the responsibility of the customer to respond to these requests promptly to avoid any delays or returns.
If duties or taxes are not paid, or if the customer is unresponsive to the shipping carrier or customs authority and the parcel is returned to us, a store credit will be issued once received. Please note that any return shipping costs, customs charges or carrier fees incurred will be deducted from your store credit. Refunds are not offered in these cases.
Refused / Unclaimed Parcels
Orders that are refused, unclaimed, or returned due to unpaid duties or taxes will be issued store credit once received. Refunds are not offered in these cases.
Order Changes & Cancellations
We process orders quickly, so changes or cancellations are not always possible.
If you need to make a change, please contact us immediately at info@sabiswim.com after placing your order and we will do our best to assist.
Lost or Delayed Orders
Once an order has been dispatched, it is the responsibility of the courier.
Sabi Swim is not responsible for parcels marked as delivered that are lost or stolen.
If your order is delayed or missing, we recommend contacting your courier directly using your tracking number.
Pricing Adjustments
We do not offer price adjustments on orders placed prior to a sale.
Original Shipping & Fees
Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
If your order qualified for free shipping and is returned, the original shipping cost may be deducted from your store credit.
Can I receive a refund instead of store credit?
We do not offer refunds for change of mind or sizing, and all eligible returns are issued as store credit or exchange.
Our returns policy is designed to support our small-batch production model, allowing us to minimise waste while ensuring every customer has the opportunity to find their perfect fit.
In rare and exceptional circumstances, a refund may be approved at the discretion of our customer care team.
If approved, the following will apply:
- A $18 handling & processing fee will be deducted
- Original shipping costs are non refundable
- If your order qualified for free shipping and falls below the threshold after return, the original shipping cost will also be deducted
- Any duties, taxes, VAT or import fees are non refundable
- For international orders shipped on a DDP basis, duties and taxes are built into your product price and are non refundable through Sabi. The duties and taxes component deducted will vary depending on your order value and destination.
As a result, approved refunds may be significantly lower than the original order value.
Please note that refunds outside of faulty items are not guaranteed and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
